“Meaning is not found. It is assigned.”
Nothing carries significance on its own. Events occur, signals exist, structures operate, but none of it matters until something declares that it does. Meaning is not inherent. It is imposed.
To assign meaning is to create hierarchy: this matters, this does not; this is true, this is false.
These distinctions are not discovered, they are constructed to prevent collapse into equivalence.
What is called “divine” is the final layer of this process.
Not a presence, but a necessity : a way to fix meaning where none can be proven.
It does not reveal truth. It sustains it.
Meaning is not found. It is assigned.
